Bye Bye Trees
The house has (or rather had) three apples trees and one plum tree. Normally I would be all for leaving trees and excited about fresh apples, but these were golden delicious apples and the fruit wasn't very tasty. The plums, according to the neighbor, were not edible either. I imagine that both set of trees were neglected for some time.
Dave and the Waters Family set out early on Saturday morning and by noon they had all the trees down. Only one minor incident to the fence, which Dave easily fixed with two screws. We plan on replacing the trees with something, we just don't know what yet. But we do know they will be non fruit bearing :)
Next up.... removing all that lava rock. Oooohh fun!
