Serious Cuteness!

Claire's kindergarten picture turned out so cute. She's getting so grownup. **sigh**

Yes! Grandparents, I have a copy for you. Just don't let me forget to get it to you.

At her most recent well child visit at the dr.'s she weighed in at 40 lbs and is 46 inches tall. Keeping her right on track (for her) at being in the 97% for height and 50% for weight. Its getting harder and harder to find her pants that fit right. It would be a bit easier if she would wear something other than leggings.  

Crosshill Christian School

Claire goes to an amazing school here in Keizer. I've been recently asked to be the president of CAST (Community Advocates for Students and Teachers). Basically it means I'm in charge of the volunteers and fundraisers. Here's a quick list of a few different easy ways to help our school doing your normal shopping. We will take ALL the help we can get. We appreciate your support of our school and with Claire's education!

We got KITTIES!!

Its been a long time since we have had a cat in the house. 5 years since Sam disappeared. Claire has been asking for a cat for a long time and Laureli loves to play with the kitties at the Anderson's house.  I finally caved and said yes to getting a new cat. We went to the Humane Society over Labor Day weekend and came home with TWO! 

Introducing Piper and Oliver! Piper is a 3 month old female and Oliver is a 6 month old male. Oliver is very active and curious, where as Piper is quiet and shy. They both are great with the girls and tolerate their "love" so well.

Kindergarten!

Claire's first day of kindergarten at Crosshill Christian was last week. She was a little nervous having a new teacher but super excited at the same time. Her school needed to add a second morning kindergarten because they had so many students enroll this year. What an amazing blessing to have that many families at Crosshill! The new teacher is Mrs. Bennett and she has three of her own kiddos at Crosshill. Cheers to a new school year!!

Our Claire is 5 today! We made it to day 1825. Whew! What a ride it has been. She is an amazing gift and we are so blessed God choose us to be her parents. 

We celebrated her birthday this last weekend down at the pool. I don't have a whole lot of pictures but love this group photo of all the kiddos. 

A few things about Claire. She loves pink, but is branching out into purple and blue. Claire is still tall for her age, 44'' and weighs about 40 lbs. Claire is smart and very observant. You never know what she is going to notice or over hear. She is starting to try to read and LOVES math.
